The Stars and Stripes Association, Inc.,

An organization of past and present, military and civilian, staffers and employees, their families and friends, of the various editions distributed overseas of the U.S. Armed Forces daily newspaper, The Stars and Stripes. Membership numbers in excess of 500 people worldwide. Our newsletter keeps members in frequent contact with each other, reminiscing and preserving their history and legacy. We hold annual reunions. We’re allied with and actively support The Stars and Stripes Museum/Library in Bloomfield, Missouri, birthplace of the first issue of The Stars and Stripes in 1861.

Basic dues are $20 per calendar year. Contributor $25; Sponsor $50; President’s Club $100 up.

All offices and jobs in the Association are held by volunteers receiving no remuneration, but who may be reimbursed for Board-authorized direct expenses incurred in the course of their duties. If you accept this invitation, please fill out this application as completely as possible, giving your personal history. We’ll introduce you to fellow-members in the newsletter. If you were not a Stripes staffer, your membership is classified "associate."
